Fred. Fred was a gentleman and very much my dog. He had the most
beautiful head and expression and from the age of Junior won many BIS at
local shows here.
Fred also won our first R.CC for us, a Junior Warrant and Stud Book number.
Fred was kind and became a therapy dog, with infinite patience he would sit
with the children at the special school. walk slowly along corridors as
children in callipers or wheelchairs "took him for a walk". I have a
special memory of him with a little girl who had tactile problems, she
hated to be touched but she sat with Fred for ages just stroking his ears
and talking to him, while the teacher held her breath with tears running
down her face. Fred a special boy.
