Jasper is a comic. He would be a great herder, sold as a puppy he
came back to us at 11 months, because he was herding sheep, and the local
land owner didn't approve and threatened to shoot him. Sadly , as we are in
sheep country here too, his herding instinct hasn't been fostered.
A lovely dark brown, with a
super harsh coat, Jasper is a more "old-fashioned" type Beardie, he is a
natural scruff who can't see the point of being "poofed up" for the
showring, preferring to roll in the sand or long grass and get as messy as
possible. If there is something on the beach dead and revolting, you can
bet Jasper will find it and roll in it before I have chance to stop him.
Many times I have had to drive home with the windows open, trying to hold my
breath.
